About me I am Peruvian. I started my training as an economist at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima where I got my BA with highest honors (Magna Cum Laude). Then, I did a master's degree in economics at the University of San Andres in Buenos Aires, where I completed the coursework with distinction. I have published several articles on distributive topics, a book on labour market for people with disabilities in Peru (published by the Editorial Fund of the Congress of Peru and UNDP), and I am also by publishing a book on inequality of opportunity in Peru (CIES / CIDA-IDRC). My work has received various awards and recognition, both in Peru and abroad. At present, I am a PhD student (Agricultural and Resource Economics) at the University of California at Berkeley, where I am going to focus on international development, statistics and applied econometrics. Until recently I was Junior Professional Associate with the World Bank in Washington, DC, where I was devoted primarily to applied research on human development, labour market and income distribution issues. From a political point of view, I am a left-liberal or social liberal. Contact Information Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics Office 228A, Giannini Hall.
